Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

If I could securely store an e-bike in long term secure storage I would immediately buy one and use it almost every day
We currently offer indoor secured bike parking at 31–57 31st St. Can already operating parking garages accommodate this need.
We are over a 10 min walk from all subways. As a result, we have dozens of bikers in our building. Our landlord, Seth Miller, is notorious for not caring for our buildings (Mayor Mamdani tweeted about him and is taking him to trial). He has told us to park our bikes in our courtyard that requires taking steep rusting steps down to a trash filled space complete with roaches, rats, and even a broken toilet. We (tenants of 930 940 prospect place) dont have a super and have to clean our buildings ourselves. Secure bikes parking for the residents of our building will help us keep our bikes overnight without having to risk injury and or pests.
Next to Forest Hills E/F and Queens Blvd bike lane, Q23 Q64 and Q74 bus. Near Ridgewood Savings Bank seems like a logical spot. There are also underutilized medians separating the boulevard and the side roads
Thanks!
City Island. Nice to bike to but lacks parking. It would be convenient to avoid the traffic jams attempting to drive here in the summer.
Near Essex stop
