Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Available space just off the NW corner, and right off the Hudson River Greenway bike path.
Large bike and especially E-Bike community in this neighborhood due to distance from trains. E-Bike parking and Bike parking here would have significant benefits for the local neighborhood.
Prewar buildings on this block do not have amenity rooms compared to newer buildings to allow bicycle storage. Buildings receive FDNY and HPD violations due to residents leaving bicycles in the building hallways. Please install street bicycle racks as this neighborhood lack current outdoor bike storage provided by DOT compared to other neighborhoods. Specifically on St. Marks Ave between Nostrand Ave and New York Ave. Tenant Associations have provided signed letters stating the importance of having bicycle storage on this block "benefits our health and sustainability as a community."

this would be a great location for visiting MOMA
