East 91 St - 2 Ave - 1 Ave

Hi, I live on the 91st st block between 1st and 2nd, and think that a bike parking garage that can hold about 10-15 bikes similar to ones in UK cities would be so beneficial to New Yorkers. I believe that they should be in the middle of residential blocks for privacy and accessibility reasons and should on every other block. I believe that most people that would use these bike parking garages are local residents, so long term storage should be a priority. A monthly fee for a long term rack, and an hourly fee for short term storage, would efficiently use space and keep the residents of the neighborhood taken care of.

There is a small pedestrian mall here with extra space! There is not, however, much secure bike parking nearby, and many office buildings don’t permit bikes as they lack a service/freight elevator.

Surf Ave - West 12 St - Henderson Walk

I would love to bike to and from the Coney Island station every day, on my way to work & school. However the lack of secure bike storage is very discouraging. A secure bike storage location either on the street outside the station, or even somewhere inside of the station would be an amazing boon too all the coney Island residents who love to bike!
