Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. This would be a great spot for bike parking since it's an underutilized space near existing Citibike parking
Please do not clutter this historically significant area with bike storage. Place it on a side street were it is out of the way. Able bodied cyclists can walk a block or two to access their bikes.
Many older buildings in the area that lack space for residents to store bikes at home.
So long as people are held on Rikers, it should not be impossible for their families to visit them. Creating safe and secure bike parking will allow more people to visit incarcerated family members.
Many of us own bikes and need parking - as well as the delivery guys dropping off food. We need less parking and more bike spaces.
Providing secure bike parking by courthouses allows those for whom biking is their primary mode of transportation, and may be unable to afford alternative means of transport, to easily get to court without risk of losing their bike.
Secure bike parking for beach goers on day trips to the beach!
Please do not clutter up Union Square or the main thoroughfares that surround them with bike storage. Place them on side streets that are out of the way. The able-bodied cyclists can walk a block or two.
