The apartment buildings in this area desperately need secure bike parking for both ebikes and cargo bikes. Especially because at least one building with a bike room (with a very long wait list) forbids ebikes from being stored in the bike room. This is likely a common policy in these old buildings.

along the open street and next to the park would be perfect. many buildings don’t allow electric bikes inside them because of the (largely irrational) fear of fires but having the ability to long term own one is a huge boon for accessibility.

The UWS contains numerous pre war walkups that often don't have space for bike parking. A locker here would provide local residents secure overnight parking. My office offers secure bike parking but with no where to store a bike at home it makes me unlikely to invest. This location at the intersection or multiple bike lanes makes sense as a hub.

There's always a ton of bikes outside Trader Joe's and nowhere to park them. Plenty of space for secure bike parking here.

It would be very helpful to have cargo bike parking at Union Square
