Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Good space to add bike parking to make it easier for people to not drive to the park. There's ample space on the street or sidewalk near the entrance.
The greenway allows for easy access to this shopping area, but no secure bike parking. There is a lot of space in and around the parking lot and park. It would be nice to have large/cargo bike parking for shopping.
Plenty of space under the BQE, in/around parking lot, and on the excessively wide low-trafficked streets near here. A lot of businesses in and around Industry City and the new Marshall's.
Hi, I live on this block and it is a busy school street. Lots of kids ride bike/scooters to school and they are forced to leave them all over the sidewalk because the whole street space is currently reserved for parked cars that rarely ever get used. The street use should be designed around being safe for kids, and that includes making a safe place for them to lock their bikes/scooters when they are in class.
E-bike and bike secure parking at Bryant park would really help commuters since grand central and times square are likely overwhelmed with tourists and visitors.
