Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Way too many cars and double parking in this area. No official crosswalk here either and so many instances where people almost get hit by speeding cars making a turn into Crooke Ave from Ocean Ave. this bike parking should hopefully allow for some visibility

There is a CitiBike station here. It would be a very nice spot to include a bike locker as well.
Please create bike parking for our parents at ps165
This is a great spot to add secure storage. It is flat, on a bike boulevard, and is right by the Bedford Ave L stop. There is an existing bike corral nearby on N 7th that is constantly packed which is a good indicator of demand.
There's a ton of parents dropping their kids off on cargo bikes and non cargo bikes at ps 165. It would also be great to be able to store kids bikes so kids could bike to school! There's a lot of parents carrying their kids bike back and forth in the morning and afternoon and if there were a place to park them, even more kids would ride their bike.
Having short-term storage for bikes near the L station in Bedford would be great. I commute from Greenpoint using the L and it's faster for me to bike than take the G (if it's even running). Lack of bike parking means I rely on citibikes but dock availability is very bad and bike storage would help a lot
Right next to the subway exit. 14th street has a lot of bike theft so would be a good candidate for secured bike parking
