Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. This big underutilized pedestrian alley would work great as a bicycle hub. Right next to multiple over-one-hundred unit buildings with no existing bicycle storage facilities but lots of bicycle commuter residents.
There is room in the interior of the parking lot at Ebbetts Field Apts. There is currently an ebike battery exchange area. An added cargo bike storage would be perfect.
This area of the street is frequently being used by delivery drivers,instead of for parking, but it would be nice to instead have safe and secured bicycle storage for all the building residents on the block.Our buildings on this side of 5th avenue are 2-3 unit buildings with no hallway space or limited hallway space to store bikes, as we are already struggling to store our new NY Trash bins. This would help open up storage in our buildings and allow our residents to safely store their bikes outside, while also making space for the NY trash bins. It would also help be a place for delivery drivers to store their bikes instead of loitering as it has become a major issue on the block with street and sidewalk congestion in a high traffic area.
great place for secure bike parking. Citibike is great but often trying to get to downtown on citibike means that I'll hit docks that are fun. taking my own bike across the bridge to downtown to make doctor's visits would be so helpful

would love a place to park my bike! our building does not have bike storage. many more of us would bike if we had secure parking here!

61st street near the corner of 3rd ave. My friend got bikes for her daughters but is afraid to lock them up outside and lives in a tiny apartment with three other people. This block has a lot of children and restaurant delivery workers on it who could beneit from it. My friend does not speak English or have access to this kind of information, so I am suggesting for her. It is also near two schools
A popular Think Coffee shop is located here. There should be parking to support it. I see people locking the bike up to the pole.
