Bike lockers!
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

Wide sidewalk with a lot of space. Close to subway, Bronx bridge and bus with a lot of bike users
There are no bike stands at all. The comment that "we don't need another" makes no sense. The landlord does not allow to lock on fences and tree guards, so there is no option to even lock a bike to anything.
E-bikes parked onthe street here are at very high risk of being stolen.
This block has any tenants that commute via bicycle. The buildings are up to 6 floors walkup and tenants have no option to store their bicycle other than carrying it to their apartment (up to 6 floors).
Brooklyn Heights sorely needs a secure bicycle parking solution as there are many of us who have bicycles and some of us have had to deal with our bikes getting stolen off of the street.
A protected bike parking shed could go on 116 west of Manhattan Ave on either side of 116. Right now there are personal vehicles and RVs that park there and never move despite it being a public street.
