Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. many people on our street have bikes and use them to get around. less car parking more bike parking!!!
StuyTown bike parking is not safe and secure!
Long term bike storage. This area is incredibly popular with residents for biking, but few places to store bikes outside of the apt since most buildings on surrounding streets do not allow storage along gates.
There's a group house here that always has a ton of bikes parked in front of it, likely for delivery drivers--this place would benefit a lot from secure bike parking!
A lot more CUNY Student, Faculty and Staff would commute by bike to the Graduate Center if allowed the option to safely park their bikes!

Central subway station (Van Siclen C train) that people bike, skateboard and scooter to station. There’s little to no safe places for lock up. A lot of housing developments in the area. Built, being built and planned. Please build out the infrastructure so people don’t keep needing to get cars.
