Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. My neighborhood is badly transit starved and chock full of bikers, most of whom are forced to lock their bikes to the front fences of their buildings. We desperately need bike storage and have more than ample street car parking such that we can afford to lose a space or two for significant bike storage.
Getting Citibike in Maspeth in the past few years was a relief, but the area also needs more options for residents who own their own bicycles. Secure bike parking near Reiff Playground seems like a good place to start, given how overprotective some locals are about losing parking spots.
None of the buildings near this location have elevators, and spotty in-building storage at best. A neighbor's bike was stolen from our highway just last year.

Short-term and long-term bike rack near the B44 stop!
Right outside the YMCA gym. This would be helpful for people going to the gym (many bikes have been stolen here in the past)
Bike parking around here would be wonderful!
