Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

would love secure bike parking, lots of walk ups here and I’m on the 5th floor

Park Pl - Grand Ave - Brooklyn

I'd love some secure bike parking. I live on the 6th floor of a walkup. Also, theres a large park/playground between Grand & Classon that could maybe use a large bike parking facility.

There are NYCHA homes and other apartment complexes that would benefit greatly from parking options.

39 Ave - 192 St - 194 St

Bike parking at LIRR stations would be great. It's already very inconvenient to get to the LIRR in this area unless you drive, but bike infrastructure is quicker to add as opposed to new bus/train routes.

Union St - 39 Ave - Roosevelt Ave

Flushing is already a major transit hub, but lacks biking infrastructure. Adding bike parking along with safe bike lanes around NE Queens would be a huge benefit to transit in the area.

This is a high traffic block without areas for residents or visitors to lock their bike safely for longer periods of time.
