Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. I live in a walk up and have no where else to store my bike. Since the east village has a lot of walkups, having bike parking here is essential
Would greatly appreciate bike parking here
Having secured parking at Flushing Meadows would allow for a lot more bike commuting to concerts and sports games
I think a secure bike parking space on 115th and Amsterdam would really be a boon to everyone commuting to and from the university campus. The Broadway is often very crowded and has the benefit of the subway stop. Similarly, 116th and Amsterdam is very crowded, which is why I suggest 115th and Amsterdam - close enough to the Amsterdam entrance of the university.
Many people shop at the Windsor Terrace Food Coop and use their bikes to get there. There is no where to lock a bike up near the coop- especially when school is in session as all the bike racks by the school are (understandably) full of kids scooters and bikes.
The apartments near 1249 Dekalb Ave would use the bike parking, as well as neighboring apartment buildings when available
It would be great to have bike parking on this street or on Dekalb between Central and Evergreen
Would really benefit from any bike infrastructure for all the people that cycle to Fractal tech.
Would love more bike infrastructure of any kind here. This intersection is really dangerous due to a lack of daylighting. Cars are always racing through reds. Thank you so much!
We've got multiple young families on the block using cargo bikes to get kids and groceries around. I've had batteries stripped off my bike twice in the last 4 months right outside our building's front door. I would really appreciate some more secure storage option; theres nowhere in our building to put them.
