Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Short term bike parking at the park makes sense for anyone who wants to visit and overnight parking for those who live in the area and don't have storage in their buildings
this area has a lot of older buildings without parking or bike storage. It would be a game changer for all the residents around
A lot of building been cought on fire cause of those lithium baterrys we need to make our area more safe
Please consider installing bike parking at this dead-end street. This location is frequently used for illegal car parking, which creates an unsafe and disorderly condition and reduces access for people walking, biking, and using the street. Bike parking would be a productive use of this curb space, provide much-needed secure parking for cyclists, and help prevent the area from continuing to function as an informal illegal parking zone.
Close to the park, low car traffic, perfect for an additional bike lane!
Secure bike storage on Allen St (maybe in the Allen Street Mall?) would be a huge boon to encourage cycling on a major transportation corridor with dedicated bike lines in both directions.
Parking garage at w 134th and Riverside
I would like a secure bike location here, as there is limited availability for parking in buildings and in local parking lots. I would like to park a standard bike longterm, and would like e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
There are so many families in the neighborhood that would benefit from owning cargo bikes, but don't have the space to store them. It doesn't have to go right here, but if I lived within walking distances of safe cargo bike parking, I would definitely buy a cargo bike and use it to transport my kids.
I don't even know if there's a way to get here by bike, but if there is, I definitely would prefer to bike to JFK!
