Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Many bikes locked on street sign poles and other public items. Large amount are bikes workers use for transportation or delivery vehicle.
This area is immediately adjacent to a public school, a public park, a CitiBike dock, and is equidistant between two subway stations (Kingston Ave for the 3 and Kingston-Throop for the C). These factors indicate this would be a great location for a bike locker, as there would be plenty of demand. This area has become safer in recent years, but bike thefts are still very common. My bike was stolen just last week from an unprotected rack right outside of the school. Protected bike lockers in this area would be a tremendous quality of life improvement for the working class families who live here.
bike parking for students and teachers
cargo bike parking would really help reduce reliance on cars for moving larger items / loads of goods. Can't keep cargo bikes in my walkup apartment
With the Bergen and Dean Street bike boulevard planning, it makes sense to put some bike storage too.
secure bike parking along with busway activation on 34th would be fantastic for office commuting
bike parking at all transit stops along the J would be fantastic, would activate significantly more access for bed-stuy to transit

Would be great to be able to lock up my bike when I am going from Manhattan to queens and back. midtown is a busy area for work. If I could bike in and leave my bike and take it back it would be great. maybe even from there, id bike to Long Island city. Would open so many doors!
