A protected bike path is badly needed. There is a huge drop off in vehicle traffic east of Conduit Blvd. Traffic volume on this stretch of Atlantic does not require 3 lanes in each direction. One of the lanes each way should be reallocated to a protected bike path.
Add plants to beautify streets
Needs crosswalk with countdown. Many kids in area need it
I've driven here thousands of times and NEVER feel safe even as a motorist. Cars speed along at this merge point and it endangers all road users.
Dangerous and confusing to navigate all the combos of Atlantic and Conduit
Can't cross to the park!
This pattern is very dangerous to people on bikes and encourages drivers to think they are on a highway. Very dangerous for a person on a bike to cross traffic exiting to the right, so that the bike can continue on Atlantic. Clear lanes for people on bikes need to be laid down.
Merging is difficult here
This is a busy intersection and cars too often blow through recent red lights to get to the super fast (and dangerous) stretches of both Atlantic & the North Conduit that follow.
Need better signage about the split in the road between Atlantic and Conduit
