Need a crosswalk at Noll St. and Flushing. It is almost impossible to cross during busy traffic hours, either because there are so many cars on Flushing or there are too many cars trying to turn from Flushing onto Noll.
There needs to be a transfer between the Hewes Street station and the Broadway station. It would increase mobility in the area
This intersection is desperately in need of a signal. The heavy volumes of pedestrians that cross this intersection (even more so now with the addition of the Whole Foods and Apple stores) creates the need. Vehicles are often jockeying for position around pedestrians to either turn from N. 4th onto Bedford or cross Bedford. A signal is also consistent with the intersections farther downstream at N. 5, N. 6 and N. 7.
Cars park where they shouldn't therefore keeping trucks and buses from being able to turn from Broadway onto Kent Ave. Traffic backs up and there is excessive honking etc.
Cars and trucks blocking the box on Kent Ave causes back up on Broadway and buses cannot turn right and excessive honking begins a domino effect up to Wythe Ave.
The entire Manhattan Ave. stretch is more than overloaded!! A bike path in this mess only adds to trucks that have to unload having to park in the middle of the street & cars having to go into oncoming traffic to get by! Who in the world thought of this?? To take a street frequented by pedestrians & cars & trucks & buses & now add bikes is insane! Put bike riders on streets designated JUST FOR THEM. They can travel much more safely & not have to be squeezing themselves between every moving vehicle & person!! Manhattan Ave. cannot sustain EVERYTHING & buses & trucks are a necessity there. Bikes can do just as well on quieter streets. How was all of this allowed to happen? Believe me, no one knows about this site & has no idea they can give any input. Everything is run by the real estate market...the Gold Rush is in full swing.
cars and trucks speed down this block in order to make the light at Nassau and Kingsland
sidewalk blocked by trucks.
Drivers frequently do not see the "Stop Here on Red" sign/line. Have witnessed many accidents almost happen as a result.
large trucks blocking road and creating noise pollution for the nearby residents
