Here
All around Cadman Plaza. Maybe take away a bunch of on-street parking from government employees with their fake and illegal parking placards.
How about for every spot that the city creates for this program, they turn down an application for a film crew to takeover several blocks of parking?
I love the idea of taking spaces away from the sole use of municipal employees and making them useful to everyone. It is time for the vast number of government spots in this area to be returned to the people.
The city has already allowed the view from the promenade to be obscured, why not start parking cars on it?
Instead of making it impossible in areas that are already impossible for parking, how about using some of the new "no parking anytime" areas for this? You need to help people transition out, not continue to squeeze them into insanity with all of the parking that the city keeps taking away. We'll gladly give-up our cars when you give us a real viable solution. Until that time you need to find collaborative ways to do this. You aren't convincing us to give up our cars by making it more difficult, you're just creating more congestion.
Great spot for on street carshare, far from existing carshare locations.
Would be a good street for car share parking.
Provides access to areas not as close to the subway station
Here
Busy area. Central to Bk Heights and Downtown. Close to subways and municipal bldgs.
there's a spot here where only a smart car fits and is de facto a car2go spot
this would make it easier to access brooklyn bridge park
here would split the difference between the 2/3 and A/C
