This is an area that would benefit from additional foot traffic that would result from a car share vehicle that is used far more frequently than the cars along this stretch.
Park Avenue provides an excellent location as space may be available under the aqueduct, minimizing the removal of street parking while also providing the carshare opportunity to neighboring facilities (i.e., hospitals) without being located too far from the pedestrian traffic on Madison and Lexington Avenues.
Moderate traffic street with decent foot traffic. With the construction of the affordable housing development, Acacia Gardens underway, and the East Harlem Multiuse Center next door, this is a great location for a car share spot.
Good residential location with many new buildings being built. Also close to highways and a convenient location for residents nearby.
Putting it as close to 2nd or 1st avenue would be great as there are lots of residents and the new subway extension and SBS bus makes it easily accessible even for Upper East Side people.
