I think it would be great to have a parking space here for CarShare. At the moment this building has a sidewalk shed up and a dumpster on the street. In front of an apartment building makes sense compared to in front of a single family or two-family house.

Carshare spots should not be by churches, synagogues or mosques so that the maximum number of attendees have parking available to them on days of worship.

Giving parking spaces to car sharing companies is privatization of public property. How are the residents of Jackson Heights, or at least those of New York City, being compensated for this privatization? Do they, for example, pay rent to New York City, subsidize New York City parking garage taxes, create new car spaces in Jackson Heights ... or, what other compensation is to be provided?

Next to the exit from the neighborhood, and not taking spots in the heavily dense parts of the neighborhood which already have huge parking problems.

I am NYC teacher in this area and parking is extremely difficult. Many teachers and staff members need to pay for early morning child care so they can leave their homes 2 hours before school starts just to find a spot. This often results in time circulating the Block, wasting gas and sending pollutants into the air. The end result is often paying a parking garage resulting in another fee. This area is already congestion and losing parking will be a nightmare.

This whole area between 76th street and 84th street and 37th avenue to Northern Blvd is extremely crowded. Lots of bus stops, meter spots plus parades being held on 37th avenue make parking for residents infernal. Why would you take even more spots away when it can already take hours to find parking??? This Carshare Parking Space is insanity
