This spot by 7th Avenue and 1st St would be a perfect spot. Suited next to a school, it would be ideal for parents to bring their children, or those families that w/o a vehicle that need the transportation. It's also close enough to the park, restaurants and shops that would attract more people to the local fare.
Corner of 7th Ave and 1st St would be a great location for car share. It is in front of a school and has a lot of activity. Residents on the block own cars and would most likely be interested in selling their car if carshare was available on the block!
There are metered spots on 8th Ave and St Johns near Flatbush that are rarely used. Perfect place for car share.
This is a main E/W route through Brooklyn and it's close to the subway.
1st Street near PS 321 would be perfect.
Nowhere near 7th Avenue, nowhere near Methodist Hospital. The NYC placard abusers (DOE, etc.) take up too many spaces.
12th St would be very welcoming. Why not consider closer to 4th Ave, too!
There is never any parking here, so a crasher spot on 12th Street would be great.
On the east side of 8th ave just north of 3rd street, there are three spots between the fire hydrant and the corner that would be excellent spots for car share. The corner is a high profile location, with several dense apartment buildings nearby. And it used to be a B69 bus stop, so the parking capacity addition is relatively recent. Lastly, the end of the fire hydrant no parking zone offers a logical place to put a car share reservation sign. I live here, belong to all of the three major carshare services and would use a car share in this location often.
Needed for this part of 5th ave. There are way too many private cars taking up spaces here.
