The NYPD parks illegally here making it hard for people to cross the street safely.

Lots of people only feel safe using the protected bike lane area on Bedford so they use the Citybike station at Grant Gore. This results in a high utilization. I would love for the station to be expanded, even if it requires removing one or two of the strange parking spots that are right next to the plaza.

The entrance to the protected bike lane at Bedford is not well resolved and I hope the DOT takes this opportunity to find a safer way of extending the bike lane to Eastern Parkway is unfortunately not on the table.

Genuinely can’t believe the Atlantic / Bedford intersection remains so dangerous despite having been “fixed” by the DOT in the past. It definitely merits attention and investment

The DOT can’t leave these intersections just like they are right now with no safety improvements for pedestrians. Extend the curbs, improve visibility removing parking next to the pedestrian crossings and make sure traffic does not make turns to adjacent streets speeding while people try to get home. As a pedestrian, my neighborhood feels very dangerous now for no real reason.

I support the bike boulevards, but please let’s make sure the nearby streets don’t become thoroughfares with speeding cars sprinting through the neighborhood. Speeding measures should also be considered in nearby streets to calm traffic and ensure pedestrian safety

No Citybikes available in this area. The ones in nearby streets are frequently full or have no space to park the bike. Should consider adding a few additional bike racks around this area given that many people use them to get to their subway stops

This intersection requires additional safety interventions from the DOT given the nearby school. Children regularly need to get on the road to actually confirm that cars are stopping at the red light because SUVs and vans are parked right next to the pedestrian crossings
