The Bergen/Dean Bike Boulevards will force more cars and trucks onto Warren and St. Marks, the two streets directly adjacent to Bergen and Dean. These too are residential streets that already suffer from too much cut-through traffic. What is the plan for preventing Warren and St. Marks from becoming the default thoroughfares for yet more frustrated, horn-honking drivers, who are attempting to avoid traffic on Flatbush? I am all for bike/bus boulevards, but there has to be an approach that considers the consequences on adjacent residential streets.

NO MORE BIKE LANES! This will create horrible traffic, congestion, and unsafe conditions to an area that needs accessible driving streets. Stop crushing our infrastructure, this is not a town built for biking! I’m the cold months half of the year no one is using a bike! Buses need to be on time and move easier through this area. NO BIKE LANES

We need the bike blvd for Dean and Bergen streets. There is too Much cut through traffic including way too many trucks on Dean street. So many people in the neighborhood use bikes to get around or we walk. A less traffic dense neighborhood would be safer and more pleasant.

Bergen and Dean are major SHARED routes for local traffic, and should remain that way.. dedicating/prioritizing it to one form of transportation (bikes) that make up a fraction of the use is insane. NO BIKE BOULEVARD

I always worry I'm going to get crushed by a car here right after I cross Flatbush -- it's just too narrrow for cars, bikes and parking.

Illegal Parking

Chronic illegal parking here, both by NYPD and double-parked park users. Please bring some order to this corridor

I am VERY MUCH IN SUPPORT of bike boulevard elements at this intersection and in this neighborhood, overall. I would be very excited to see any sort of bike-related redesign in this neighborhood, as a whole.

Chronic double parking all along this block. Need smart loading zones to manage curb demand

dean and bergen should both be bus and bike priority corridors, with substantial traffic calming measures to reduce cut-through vehicle access
