Secure bike storage would be huge asset in this area. I do not have a place where I could store a cargo or electric bike- both would be beneficial to my family. If there were curbside lockers regularly along these streets, many residents would benefit!
i dont know why exactly - this stretch here always sucks, the road quality is bad, and there always seems to be tons of dust, so bad that my wife started taking st marks instead of being blinded/coughing here
Bedford is important connection for northbound cyclists. Clearer markings and more protection are needed!
when i do head east sometimes i pick st marks because its quieter than dean, and i was thinking about this left turn here on to (what i wish was protected kingston) is actually really nice because there is no opposing traffic here, everyone is going left/straight/north up kingston. feels like a natural turn in a good way.
sooooo many cars double parked in the bike lane here, its awful.
Echoing others who have said that this block is often difficult for cyclists. The UPS store causes cars to consistently double park, plus the UPS bus is forced to block much of the road when it's there. The Bedford and Rogers crossing are also challenging.
Something about the timing of this red light when Bergen hits Court and/or the parking spot spacing (also the constant double parking outside the school) leads to traffic backing way up on Bergen Street and also a dangerous turn left onto Court Street. Please consider cutting a few parking spots on the south side of Bergen Street to create a turning lane.
In these industrial areas, cars block the bike lane and/or the driving lane (forcing other vehicles into the bike lane) frequently.
There is not adequate signage for bikers who want to continue west (to the greenway) on how to get there.
