Bergen St - 5 Ave - Flatbush Ave

Having lived on this block for 9 years, the cars need to be tamed or removed. Drivers race down the slope and regularly blow through the light at 5th - where I have to cross to get groceries. I would LOVE a traffic diverter at 5th that allowed bikes/buses to continue straight but other drivers would have to turn!

Flatbush Ave - 4 Ave - Atlantic Ave

Drivers don't respect the intersection during a red light due to no cross traffic. This leads to a block crosswalk and dangerous conditions for pedestrians and cyclists. The street vendors block the only connector between the 4th ave bike lane and Ashland Place which leads to the Flushing Ave bike path. The connector design was just painting lines on the existing infrastructure and a change is sorely needed.

Vanderbilt Ave - Pacific St - Dean St

Very dangerous section of Vanderbilt where drivers refuse to merge into one lane and continue taking the bike lane. The road is very torn up and cyclists have to navigate around angry drivers and improperly parked cars.

Underhill Ave - St Marks Ave - Prospect Pl

The Underhill bike corridor has become a speedway for impatient drivers avoiding backed up traffic on Washington Ave. Morning drop off at the school has become chaotic for young children trying to get school. The neighborhood is mainly single family townhouses where the students walk to school with their parents. They shouldn't have to fear for their safety for drivers who won't abide the slower street design.

please do something about this intersection this is the most dangerous intersection at lowry triangle due to speeding by cars. in the morning and PM commutes its a real hazard and now there is building construction. someone is going to get really hurt from speeding

Bergen St - Underhill Ave - Washington Ave

red lights are frequently run at this intersection and it's really dangerous to cross the street because cars do not wait. also the bike lane is always blocked from washington to underhill, including the auto-body shop that uses the lane for broken cars

Dean St - Carlton Ave - Vanderbilt Ave

once this building was developed the crosstown bike lane was never repainted and it is constantly used for deliveries, double-parking, and generally creates unsafe conditions for cyclists. the road is also completely unpaved

Bergen St - 4 Ave - 5 Ave - Brooklyn

Hello! I live on Bergen St between 4th and 5th ave. I’m concerned about what the bike boulevard will mean for parking on our block. I know the bike boulevard will benefit many more community members so I think it’s great, but is there a plan in place for resident parking? I drive 1.5 hours to work and losing parking on our block would be untenable. Perhaps a resident parking permit or other solution could work. Thank you!

Bike lanes and street safety improvements/hardening here will help so much with pedestrian safety! Drivers make fast turns without looking for pedestrians
