My elderly father and mother live on this block and relies on the parking in order to prevent walking long distances. People have invested their lives into living in a neighborhood that is safe and convenient for them. Eliminating the parking is displacing the very people that made the neighborhood what it is. Taking away parking and putting a bike lane is a terrible mistake. Is nothing safe or sacred?

My mother has lived on Bergen street for almost 70year and has been disabled for over 5yrs so greatly relies on the B65 for transportation convenience. I urge you to think about the disabled and elderly who have lived in this neighborhood for years and NEED this transportation.

This is terrible idea. These are heavily used multi use streets serving business and residents, many schools, the B65 bus, school buses etc. No room for bike boulevards unless everything else is impacted. Traffic in the area would be a nightmare, not to mention loss of parking for local residents and businesses. Also, Dean & Bergen are already overtaken with ebikes, which lately have become more dangerous than cars, imo. This would only become worse and more dangerous. Hard no.

streets are completely gridlocked with flatbush bus lane. every traffic signal another truck gets stuck in the intersection. honking, blocked crosswalks, traffic on side streets. will be worse when finished, combine it with the bike lanes, and grand army plaza and it will only get worse. intentional congestion in one of the busiest parts of brooklyn if you ask me no other logical explanation

Bergen and Dean are entirely too busy/commercial for a safe bike boulevard. With changes on Flatbush, commercial trucks and more vehicles will be using these blocks. Other blocks are better suited.

I constantly feel in danger walking the streets because of cyclists (both electric and pedal). I am a senior citizen and walk some-what slow and I have been nearly hit many times, brushed, and yelled at by these lunatics when I have the light.

cyclists are 5% of commuters, buses even less....... why are we fccin up the streets for these people and causing danger for pedestrians? you people see what's going on with Flatbush, every intersection is blocked, congested, blasting horns, its a fccin mess
