Central Park West is missing a Southbound protected bike lane.
Illegal parking is routinely observed on the entire East side of Central Park West, in the protected bike lane and/or the adjacent safety buffer.
West 72nd street needs a fully protected bike lane in both directions, connecting the Hudson greenway to Central Park.
Please add at least twice as many bike racks on the school side (this school runs a bike bus and needs more bike racks).
Sharrows bike lane on W. 77 ought to be converted to a curbside protected bike lane.
DOT has completely capitulated to the bike activists and restaurant lobby. You now operate with the foremost goal of creating congestion which you use as an excuse for nonsense like this curb redesign. Many NYers drive vehicles. DOT serves all NYers, not just your pals at TransAlt but that seems to have been forgotten. It’s time for DOT to fulfill it’s mandate of equal service to all NYers, not only cyclists.
Crossing distance is very long in both directions. Cars tend to come fast along 72
No bike lane or bus lane on 72.
Along the whole avenue from 66 to 80, I frequently see trucks unloading packages onto the road
We need to grow the median and green Broadway. It also really needs a protected lane. Broadway should be busy and truck only with one movinglane in each direction and one parking/loading lane.
