Dangerous Left Turn

Schenck Ave - Flatlands Ave - Vandalia Ave

there is a high volume of left turning vehicles from the mall onto Flatlands Ave. often times drives have to wait a few light cycles before they can make the left turn. some drive to the thru lane and make an illegal left from the through lane putting unexpecting pedestrians in danger.

when DOT redesigned the triangle and built it out with concrete, they did not accommodate for the existing taxi stand. the new design has narrowed out the roadway so now taxi drivers are parking half-way on the sidewalk in order for the B6 & B84 buses to get by
