Lindenwood/Spring Creek Transportation Study

The Lindenwood/Spring Creek Transportation Study is being undertaken in response to traffic and congestion due to the continued growth in the area.

The Lindenwood/ Spring Creek Transportation Study is being undertaken in response to traffic and congestion generated by the Phase II implementation of the Gateway Estates (FEIS) Plan and a significant number of residential developments.

The study area is bounded by New Lots Avenue/Linden Boulevard to the North, Belt/Shore Parkway to the South, Louisiana Avenue to the West and North-South Conduit Avenue to the East and includes part of two neighborhoods, East New York, Brooklyn in community district 5, and Lindenwood Queens in community district 10. The goal of the study is to improve travel/ traffic conditions in the area and enhance safety for all road users while improving multi-modal mobility and accessibility.

An area wide transportation study incorporates community input throughout the entire study process using it in conjunction with data collection efforts to inform and shape the identification of issues and the development of recommendations. Please use our online map to identify specific locations with transportation and safety concerns. This feedback, in addition to other public feedback initiatives, will help us understand the community issues and to develop future improvements.
