narrow street for better crossing, shouldnt have to worry about speeding cars, use design to slow vehicles X2**
Difficult to find the bike path to the bridge if you're coming from McGuinness because of where it is
acute turn near this corner for trucks which creates issues; extra room for trucks to turn onto Greenpoint Avenue creates confusion as to where people should be
crosswalk buttons out of order, ppl dont pay attention when crossing the street - need an audio alert
Difficult route finding on a bike- above Greenpoint Avenue ie. Provost feels safer; after that you need to find a different north-south route; if trying to go south of Greenpoint Avenue things are confusing- maybe signage or path solution
See lots of illegal large trucks; avoid McGuinness and Greenpoint Bridge because it's too scary to bike; trucks parked in bike lanes
bad intersection and difficult where to look when you're driving and where to be when you're on a bike
fire station needs near this intersection as well
Issues with conflicting uses- gas station, coffee shops, supermarket; frightening to cross street there; loading issues
Eliminate RIGHT & LEFT TURN onto Monitor Street. Close this entrance to Monitor Street to traffic.
