Vehicles often speed out of the intersection with Humboldt St, as they don't have another stop sign for multiple blocks. This makes it dangerous for those crossing at Russell St
Engert Ave has a large citibike station, but not safe way for those taking or returning the bikes to use. Either the exit straight onto McGuinness, or Engert, neither have a bike lane or shared bike route
Lots of people cross Engert Ave at this point, even though there is no crosswalk. Cars speed out of the Humboldt St intersection and often turn into Russell st without looking for people on the crosswalk
Double parked cars and delivery trucks idle here for long periods of time. Cars often speed out of the intersection with Humboldt St as they don't have another stop sign until North Henry so this becomes really dangerous
Parked cars blocked visibility for this crosswalk across Driggs
Very poor visibility to stop signs for vehicles traveling in either direction. Vehicles often run stop signs at the all way stop
This is an overly tight 90 degree right turn, with the view often blocked by parked cars. Trucks and cars cut the corner of the sidewalk here (as you'll see that the sidewalk has crumbled and been damaged). Pedestrians often have to stand 2 or 3 meters back from the crosswalk to ensure safety when waiting for the light
Cars and trucks are always speeding out of and into the intersection with Meeker, racing red lights, rushing to overtake each other and accelerate onto the on ramp to the BQE
Dangerous and aggressive drivers often speed onto the on ramp here through red lights
The car wash at David’s Auto consistently has multiple vehicles stopped on the sidewalk for final buffing, which blocks the entire sidewalk from pedestrian use. Pedestrians are forced to navigate between vehicles, enter the car wash area, or choose to walk into McGuinness Blvd in order to continue down the sidewalk. This is a daily issue and one that is extremely dangerous for pedestrians - especially parents with children, dog-walkers, and the pregnant & elderly. The business is extremely unwilling to cooperate with neighbors’ consistent requests to keep cars behind the sidewalk line until they are done being cleaned.
