Bike Lane Requested
Bike Lane Requested
Monitor St - Greenpoint Ave - Norman Ave

Trucks, especially sanitation tend to speed up to Norman Ave. This street is not safe on a bicycle

Cars and Trucks speed on this street on their way to Greenpoint Ave. A bike path connecting to the one on the Greenpoint Ave Bridge would be very helpful,

Newel St - Meserole Ave - Calyer St

Car drivers get angry if you ride a bike here, it is not safe enough.

Jewel St - Meserole Ave - Calyer St

Jewel is so narrow that I have been threatened by car drivers for slowing them down by riding a bike here. While this looks like a good way to get to the Pulaski Bridge, it can be very dangerous.

Both Newel and Jewel are so narrow that riding a bike in them has caused cars behind me to honk and threaten me on the bike because I was slowing them down. While both these streets look like they would be good for bikes, they are not.

Newton St - Mcguinness Blvd South - Engert Ave

There is CitiBike parking but no bike corral for regular bikes which are more environmentally friendly (less plastic and no lead-acid hazardous battery powered pay stations/ docks).

Obawiam się, że nie wpuszczenie ciężarówek na McGuiness utrudniłoby transport towarów do iz Long Island. Trzeba najpierw poprawić 495

I would safe biking on Jewel street with or without it being protected. There is no nearby bike route that heads in this direction and it would connect other existing bike routes better without sacrificing supply chain capacity

Instead of a lane for plastic electric bike with batteries that become hazardous waste, how about we save room for a street car. McGuiness as a possible alternative route for BQX or future extension? CR

Please maintain two lanes of traffic in both directions on McGuinness! This is a main thoroughfare and to limit driving on this roadway would be disastrous. I am a driver, a biker, a runner and a walker: there are other bikeways that are not dangerous - this is NOT the place for bikes. Cars and trucks need this roadway AS IT IS. Please LEAVE IT ALONE.
