Bikes and electric scooters go through red lights
If the delivery zone was on Russell instead of Driggs, Trucks unloading for the super market wouldn't have to come down Driggs. The delivery zone trucks are often so big that they block the bike lane on Driggs.
cars, trucks and vans use this street as a short cut from Meeker to Mcguinness during rushhour, and they speed on each block. Please reverse direction on this block to stop them from doing this in our neighborhood.
There is never enough time to make it across, and cars/trucks speed up right away when the light turns. It is very scary. Make the crossing shorter, please.
The crossing is too long, people constantly get stuck on the median, especially during school drop off and pick up It is very dangerous, and needs to be fixed by making the road bed narrower.
Road diet needed to calm traffic and provide bicycle safe infrastructure
close the on ramp to BQE
We really need a road diet on McGuinness. It saddens me how little infrastructure there is for me when I walk there.
I cannot overstate how good it would be for this road to have a traffic diet. It would be an easy win for both safety and for quality of life, and it would disincentivize drivers from using it as a BQE shortcut.
Neighborhood loading zones on Nassau avenue (both sides of McGuinness) would definitely help the businesses on this street.
