ppl parking are workers and deliveries and residents have mobility issues - make sure we have parking available for them, only park on McGuinness if you have to**
The more parking we have the more driving we have so removing some should be a no brainer in terms of safety and climate change. Center-running bike lanes are great (Queens Blvd/Allen St) because they keep us away from curbside chaos (loading, unloading); having greenery, bioswales, daylighting, or combo of those; bioswales would be elegant solution on corners; less need to go to spots on McGuinness itself so center lane would be good
removing parking creates conflict and disagreement within the community; something we should avoid in the interest of focusing on safety improvements.**
if we take away a travel lane can keep parking**
can keep parking if we reduce travel lanes, dont think parking is a right**
Imperative to have APS (Accessible pedestrian signals) for those who are blind or have impaired sight to safely cross all along the corridor
car ownership is increasing in the area, not enough parking as it is; what impact would it have on safety? prioritize other improvements vs. removal of residential parking.**
ok to remove parking if we can we add resident parking under BQE**
There's traffic from visitors (weekend, the park, etc.) and it's increased so thought of reducing parking should consider more surveys on it;
during G train work, the shuttle running along McGuiness was very welcome!**
