This entire area is a hot spot for pedestrians, lots of vehicles coming from every direction; difficult to cross.**
if I were to ride on McGuinness Blvd at all it would need to be protected - too many trucks from Greenpoint & LIC & industrial areas
Medians should be useful, not just pretty

Median- need to take in mind those who can't make it all the way across- the elderly, those with disabilities. Safety factor to be considered if the median is changed.
no direct protected bike path to Pulaski Bridge, frustrating as a daily cyclist to get to Pulaski from McGrolick Park or farther south
Might make sense to make it two lanes instead, so we can more adequately integrate bike traffic and make it safer for pedestrians to cross; do we need extra width for cars, unless we do for large trucks?
will only bike on McGuinness if it is protected, will not bike if it is just paint - will be parked in and be dangerous for cyclists
Issues with cars queuing for carwash and/or parked nearby.**
Try to cross the median but difficult to do it in one light cycle; Nassau and Greenpoint crossings; possible to have road diet that means fewer lanes in each direction to shorten crossing times and use the median better
