Lots of competing needs; parking is the lowest priority of the needs (like biking, trucks, pedestrians, etc)
Re: parking: parking loss would be detrimental to local residents living on McGuiness
Maybe do some strategic daylighting and adding loading zones additions but removing a travel lane is more important than removing parking. Parking does provide some safety and protection from traffic.
trees in the median could block visibility
Protected lanes for biking are vital to biking on McGuinness*
add signal - slow vehicles - peds can cross then too
It is more important to remove a travel lane than to remove parking on McGuiness Blvd for safety
better signalization for BQE - slow vehicles down
Please investigate moving the truck route off McGuiness Blvd and onto the more industrial streets.
