Have bus stops along the median like BRT, less conflict with drivers and pedestrians**
Please relocate the plants if the median is removed. The trees are important. Would be happy to remove the median and add the space to the sidewalk. It does not feel safe. Either make it more substantial or remove it and expand the sidewalk on both sides of the street.
signal on Pulaski and speed limit sign
Corridor long median: not usable. Could be bigger to prevent abuse of median, should be redesigned with better usage and value in mind*
not many peds walking on the sidewalk - more are crossing - Nassau/Driggs/Greenpoint need better signal timing
people cross the median to access the bus stop - very dangerous
at Nassau: groups of people crossing without the light and taking chances. **
landscaping in medians make it difficult for turning drivers to see**
trucks double parked at Key Foods and theres a new bldg. here that has pick up/drop offs - difficult to narrow McGuinness to one lane
Signage used to be here about No Trucks on Freeman, but pole was hit and came down and sign was never replaced.*
