Request for protected bike lane on McGuiness Blvd
Leonard and Manhattan bike lanes are useless, always parked in.
There's no good way to get from Pulaski Bridge to eastern Greenpoint by bike.
New crosswalk is dangerous, needs leading pedestrian interval. Cars speed as they turn left onto the onramp.
Lots of ped traffic in the morning associated with school drop off. Large trucks turning. People don't have enough time to cross, get stuck on medians.
Uncontrolled crosswalk, many cross here anyway
Trucks back into the loading dock, blocking sidewalk, 1 lane of roadway. Very dangerous for pedestrians.
Lots of parking on the sidewalk in front of gas stations on lower McGuiness
Lots of travel between McGolrick and McCarren park. People will walk a loop between the two with dogs etc
Humboldt St is a perfect opportunity for a Bike Boulevard. It connects north-south through the entire neighborhood, and could connect further north to a protected route on McGuinness Blvd. It's close to the commercial areas on Graham Ave and Bushwick Ave without causing conflicts for delivery trucks or MTA buses. It will also provide a safe biking route for both the Williamsburg and Bushwick Houses.
