North 6 St - Havemeyer St - Meeker Ave

It is a tight squeeze to bike from Metropolitan onto North 6th st. The ped+bike ramps are too narrow for the volumes. Many cars inch well past the white stop line and are fully in the crosswalk.

Meeker Avenue bike lane is still not finished even though it started in 2019...

Meeker Ave - North 8 St - Union Ave

Meeker+Union intersection is doing too much. There are too many turn cycles meaning pedestrians always have to spend a lot of time under the BQE. Also, there is no pedestrian ramp outside of Union Pool to cross Meeker.

Ainslie St - Keap St - Union Ave

Cars constantly speed down Ainslie since they are coming off of the BQE and trying to beat the light. I walk here every day and constantly have to be on the lookout to avoid close calls. Also, plenty of trucks do no turn and illegally drive down Ainslie Street which is not a truck route.

Tons of bike traffic on Union Ave but there is no protection

Maujer St - South 1 St - Union Ave

South 1st has a redundant extra road here. We should pedestrianize one of them.

A bike boulevard on Leonard, Manhattan, and/or Humboldt. would be amazing. Remove illegal truck traffic while making it easier to bike north-south

Make Morgan Safe. Plenty of people already bike here. It is the only route from Greenpoint to Bushwick

The crosswalk across Metropolitan is on the wrong side of Meeker here. Right now the crosswalk light is on right when cars are making right turns from two lanes. The crosswalk should be moved to the left-hand side of Meeker.

Poor light timings force bikes to run reds or take 4 extra minutes to navigate this intersection. The dedicated right turn phase from Havemeyer to Borinquen feels unncessary.. Eastbound from South 4th Street actually forces bikes to ride on the sidewalk.
