Grand St - Graham Ave - Manhattan Ave - Brooklyn

While not perfect, the bike lanes on Grand Street are a vital link from Bushwick to the Williamsburg waterfront. Removing the bike lanes and moving them to side streets severs that direct link and needlessly complicates the trip all to prioritize faster vehicular movement. Faster vehicular movement along Grand Street would make the street/pedestrian experience all that more intolerable and would reduce foot traffic and in turn negatively affect business along the road. Additionally, turning Grand Street (and in turn, Metropolitan Ave) into one way routes would essentially turn the roads into on and off ramps for the Williamsburg Bridge

Grand St - Leonard St - Manhattan Ave

So tired of risking my life weaving in and out of the bike lanes on Grand St when it is blocked by parked cars and trucks. Sometimes with the trucks parked between intermittent jersey barriers, I don't even have the space to leave the bike lane without getting off and walking the bike right into traffic. Bike lanes on Grand street are also fllled with trash

Brooklyn Queens Expwy Et 32 Eb - Brooklyn Queens Expressway - Rodney St

Up until the 90's there was a pedestrian passage for crossing the BQE at Hope. It was closed because of crime etc but we should consider a redesign and reopen it to reduce reliance on crossing at Grand and Metro. Maybe make it a sky bridge.

Leonard St - Skillman Ave - Jackson St

Bike lane on Leonard is a nice idea but the street is too narrow for an unprotected lane. Need to at least have it between the curb and parked cars or make protected lanes on Lorimer instead.

Metropolitan Ave - Union Ave - Lorimer St

Very busy intersection. Cars end up blocking the intersection waiting until the end of the yellow light or pedestrians to finish crossing to make turns. Needs left turning lanes and signal or pedestrian-only crossing signal

Metropolitan Ave - Havemeyer St - North 5 St

I hate turning from a nice, safe N5 to metropolitan but I have no other choice. The bottleneck here pits cars against cyclists. Cars turning from Havemeyer to Metro are in a rush to make the light and left turn. We need a safe, car free corridor to cross the BQE as alternatives to Metro and Grand.

Leonard St - Powers St - Ainslie St

Intersection needs crosswalk and/or daylighting. Cars traveling on Leonard don't stop for pedestrians. For cyclists traveling east on Ainslie (because it is calmer and safer than Grand!), the parked cars at the corner block sightlight of cars coming south on Leonard.

Powers St - Olive St - Catherine St

This intersection is super narrow and there are always cars parked right up to the corner. It needs daylighting for pedestrians and for cars to safely turn onto Powers

Morgan Ave - Metropolitan Ave - Sharon St

There is no bike lane north of Grand St on Morgan nor a good alternative north-south route. Trucks are constantly blocking the sidewalk and part of the street.

Metropolitan Ave - Grand St - Grand St

The bike protection before and after this bridge is almost non-existent. This is a busy truck route with multiple streets criss crossing. Incredibly unsafe bottleneck that you can't avoid if you need to cross the creek.
