Connects bedford ave bike path to park. Ideally a protected bike lane to protect from double parking and aggressive traffic.
Bedford Ave needs to be a two-way protected bike lane - cars are constantly parked in the bike lane. This comment is meant for the entirety of the bedford ave bikelane up into bed-stuy as well. It's the best and easiest connection between Flatbush and places like Bed Stuy, Williamsburg and Greenpoint (a common bike trip)
There needs to be a bike lane that connects eastern area to the bike path south of prospect park. The intersections and roads around Flatbush Ave (South East prospect park corner) are incredibly dangerous and chaotic. Dedicated bike lanes would make it safer for everyone
There should be more east-west bike connections south of Eastern Parkway. Carroll and President St both connect to Lincoln Terrace and have tons of space for protected lanes. Drivers get every street so cyclists should have multiple safe routes too
Remsen is very wide with lots of speeding. Protected bike lanes could narrow roadway for safety and provide direct connections all the way from Crown Heights to Canarsie Park
Connect the bike path all the way along Seaview. The road is super wide with plenty of room for protected lanes
Connect the Avenue H and Avenue I lanes and protect them from cars, we need better east west connections
Kings Highway should get a separated bike path like Eastern Parkway, with trees for shade and protection from cars
The north side of Cortelyou along the cemetery would be a good 2-way protected bike lane since there are no intersections to worry about drivers
no actual markings here. people drive relatively slowly but there is nothing actually indicating this is a bike lane, allowing typically angry and aggressive drivers to do whatever they feel like.
