Project Overview

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is proposing to install new bicycle lanes in Brooklyn Community Districts 14 and 17 to expand the neighborhood bicycle network and improve access to adjacent neighborhoods and recreational destinations.

Community Boards 14 and 17 are Priority Bicycle Districts due to high ridership but lack of dedicated bicycle infrastructure. The project aims to close gaps in the bicycle network while improving safety for all road users.

NYC DOT will incorporate community input throughout project development. Your feedback will be used to identify issues, propose new or enhance existing bicycle route, and develop street designs.
