This route would connect already existing bike lanes to form a continuous safe route.
Continuation of the protected bike lane along Flatbush Ave. This route would connect with the existing bike lane on Clarendon Rd and provide bike access to Brooklyn College and the shopping center near it.
Connecting the bike lane on Clarendon Rd. to the bike lane that leads to the Jamaica Bay Greenway. This will provide safe access for cyclists in the neighborhood to the Greenway and provide opportunities for nature exploration, exercise, and recreation.
