There are many in the area but they are often empty or full. The one at 45/8 is very often out of service.

PS 2 is located between ditmars Boulevard and 21st ave on 75th and 76th street. This would be a perfect location for CitiBike racks. I and many, many of my neighbors are extremely excited you are finally going to our neighborhood which is far away from subway. We need racks everywhere! Thanks.
It's surprising that there is a Citi Bike station desert along 9th ave between 63rd st. and 54th st (which is usually empty) since 9th ave has a bike lane and slopes down so it's very popular. This area has lots of students.
Please replace the station that used to be here but was removed a year or so ago. I think there was construction in the vicinity so maybe that was the reason for the removal at the time but having another station near Columbus Circle is important, since it's such a transportation hub. It will also be a great revenue generator since it's so close to Central Park (and more visible than the one above Columbus Circle).
There's no close bike rack to this entry/ exit site of Macy's. Also Penn Station is in close proximity.
There's always restricted bikes after the work day at Mount Sinai and sometimes even no docks in the morning/ afternoon. Big demand due to the hospital in this area.
There is so much space by this municipal parking lot and all the nearby Citi Bike facilities are almost always completely in use (empty).
This is a Hudson Yard area and 9th Avenue bike lane crossing. There's often bikes lacking at 37th and 10th, this would be a great option to expand in the area, as it is a little bit closer to the bike lane on 9th Avenue but still close to Hudson Yards and other living complexes.
This would be more convenient
