Cherry St - Jackson St - Bike Path

The Cherry St dock lacks enough capacity. This is next to public and tall private housing developments and the density is quite high here. The docks empty out early in the morning and fill up early in the afternoon. This is an easy win because the site I'm proposing is already city park property so no permission needs to be obtained and no parking spaces need to be eliminated.

West 110 St - Amsterdam Ave - Manhattan

There are never enough bikes in the late afternoon/early evening from West 100 to West 123 street. Maybe the one on West 110 Street by St. John Cathedral. You can add more

2 Ave - East 24 St - East 25 St

The bike station at 25th and 2nd ave was recently removed, but was critical for hospital workers coming/going from the area. Please replace or add a station nearby, preferably on 2nd ave since most stations nearby are on 1st ave heading uptown.

Station near the Met. Also breaks up 10 blocks on 5th ave without a bike dock.

Serves Stuytown and the increasingly busy upper East Village. Other docks in the area are frequently out of bikes

Pedestrian Path - Columbia St - Pedestrian Path

This would be a great spot for a new bike station because it is right across from NEST (a large school consisting of elementary-high schoolers) and is also close to Bard High School and many students would walk their friends to the bus station nearby (even if they do not take that bus). Even though there is a station at Stanton and Magin that is way closer to Bard, most students need to pass Columbia Street to get home or even just to hang out with their friends. There are also many NYCHA residents surrounding this area who would greatly benefit from this added station. Overall, it is a versatile spot to add a bike station.

Never enough docks in Red Hook. Especially on weekends, where a lot of people cycle to this neighborhood.

With Empire Store bldg fully opened and the completion of BB Park and new residential buildings this area has boomed. Little transit access but big bike support.
