Neptune Ave - West 19 St - Brooklyn

Remap hart place off the creek overpass to make right to Neptune ave or go straight to Surf Avenue. Make west 17 street one way out of Coney and less congestion on the coner of west 17 Crospey and Neptune.

Every time I come to this intersection I am AFRAID to cross in either direction. Cars, trucks, and buses are turning really fast all the time. The two gas stations that are located here do not make it any better. I find this intersection VERY unsafe for pedestrians and drivers as well. There are also many auto shops on Neptune Ave that add to the chaos that is going on. There needs to be a crossing guard at this intersection as soon as possible considering the schools that are located close by.

Neptune Ave between West 5th street and West 6th St is a long and dangerous block that is used by seniors to get from the Warbasse side to the shopping center and back crossing against 4 lanes of traffic and many double parked cars. Seniors have trouble walking to the corners making this a nightmare waiting to happen. This area is also a major bus thoroughfare. On top of which it has become a raceway as cars try to make the light on the corners. Please note there are very active driveways on the north side of Neptune Ave. I suggest a flashing yellow light mid block at 525 Neptune Ave with pedestrian crossing signage to make drivers aware of the defacto crossing.

It is long past time that Coney Island have an express train into the city. Especially now with all the residential buildings that have been constructed adding thousands of additional residents. It shouldn't take people an hour to an hour and a half to get to midtown.

This is another difficult intersection for pedestrians to cross. There is no light and drivers rush trying to turn onto the Belt Parkway.

There are only a few pathways for a person to walk from Coney Island to another neighborhood, and all of them are dangerous including this one on Shore Road by the entrance to the Belt Parkway. A high volume of traffic comes at pedestrians from every direction, and one has to be careful crossing here. I believe there was also a pedestrian who was killed here by a car.

Cropsey Ave - Bay 50 St - Belt Parkway Exit 6 North Wb

There are only a few pathways for a person to walk from Coney Island to another neighborhood, and all of them are dangerous including this one on Cropsey Avenue by the bridge over the. Belt Parkway. There is a Yield sign but the cars come off the Belt Parkway at a high speed and often don't yield. This is a particularly dangerous place to try to cross especially at night. I can't imagine how a older person would be able to do it.

W.12th Street by Surf Avenue under the elevated train is a disgrace. The street has been broken up for years, and the street is blocked by private cars. This is one of the main entrance ways to the Coney Island amusement area and beach, and it is terrible we can't even have a paved street people can walk through.

Driving here daily is a dangerous nightmare as there are double and triple parked cars in all of the auto shops making it scary for pedestrians to cross. Also cars exiting the gas station dangerously try to find their way in to traffic and cut cars off. There's also a great deal of traffic when students are being dropped off and picked up from JHS 239

This added traffic light is a terrible idea, stop sign was more than enough. Now there’s always traffic on Shore Parkway and it backs up to Shell Rd.
