This JHS causes the most traffic, allowing pick up parents to triple park. No regard for the residents here or our children walking home. Causes serve back up with no where to go. S/B in the morning and N/B in the afternoon! It’s a shame how they u-turn, triple park and don’t allow for cars to pass safely!

1) The boardwalk from Coney Island Avenue to West 32nd Street and Steeplechase Pier need major repairs. Nails are popped up everywhere and boards are broken. Some weak looking strips of metal tape appear to be holding planks together. And the plywood boards are already deteriorating. Wood benches are stained and broken. Almost a decade of disrepair. Please fix these things for all pedestrians’ safety and enjoyment (and tourist $$$$). 2) Ban electric bikes and scooters entirely from the boardwalk. They are a menace to pedestrian safety and public use. They are ruining the already deteriorating wooden boards and popping up nails everywhere. The ridiculous signs that say no scooters or e-bikes probably cost more to design and install than assigning a permanent ‘quality of life’ team to enforce the law.

add lighting and benches along the bike lanes. and whatever happened to the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative that was supposed to run from Bay Parkway to Home Depot and to Knapp Street, along Cropsey?

The left turn lane on Cropsey at Neptune (going south) is ignored for the most part by drivers who illegally go straight across Neptune to 17th Street. So many near collisions! Also, some people illegally turn left from the center lane and cut off drivers making the legal left turn from the proper lane. All of this confusion is further complicated by the car repair shops who block all sides of all the streets in this area! Completely illegal parking that's ignored by the police and traffic control Something has to be done about this. It's a crisis. Why has nothing been done to stop the illegal double parking?

Surf Ave - West 12 St - Henderson Walk

On West 12th at Surf Ave, below the elevated line, transit police park their private cars on the sidewalk, sticking out into the street, all day, every day. This is a "NO STANDING" zone. Creates a dangerous situation for cars and busses turning at this intersection. Also blocks pedestrians. This is a narrow street and if a truck or bus is making a turn, they are blocked by the illegally parked cars until traffic clears. This causes traffic jams and backups onto Surf Avenue.

Please put up a chain link fence by the bridges that would prevent trespassers and their illicit activities.

The municipal parking lot for residents is about $600 for the quarter. That is simply an astronomical price to expect the older adults on fixed incomes to pay. Please make it affordable again
