Lots going on at this intersection including busses overtaking cars in the wrong lane, cars not yielding to pedestrians, cars/busses blocking the box, vehicles running red lights to rush onto/off of the cross bronx/gwb, illegal turns, speeding, cutting off traffic to get ahead of the intersection...
This is a very challenging intersection with multiple directions of vehicle, bike and pedestrian traffic crossing from all sides. It is difficult to see everyone and to know when it is safe to cross.
Car service uses this as a parking lot.
It would awesome to have the greenway continue along the waterfront rather than cutting over to St. Nicholas. Give us a lane of the FDR.
It's really scary to cross this intersection because of all the speeding, turning cars. Needs a dedicated bike/ped signal.
This bike lane sharp right turn across FDR entrance ramp is SUPER dangerous because it causes you to stop and then try to accelerate to cross through traffic.
Double parking blocks busses, creating big backups here.
Need dedicated turn signals. Turning vehicles conflicting with traffic trying to go straight on Broadway.
This road is terrifying for cyclists. Also, the main access road going north towards the GWB.
Imagine if you had blind, right hand turns like this in a car lane. It wouldn't happen. So why is it acceptable for bike/ped infrastructure. We need a real lane on the bridge.
