Not suitable for Citi Bike Station
Location Not Suitable for Citi Bike Station
48 St - Barnett Ave - Queens

This is a very busy street, narrow sidewalks as it is. There is a middle school under construction. The City has permitted development and bike lanes throughout Sunnyside reducing and reducing parking for those who live here, making it more difficult for the stores in our neighborhood to get deliveries. There is no evident overall planning in any of this. Example: #7 train access with elevators, parking garages where off street parking and electric vehicle charging are possible, bus shelters and, perhaps, some sidewalk widening and maintenance, tree maintenance for safety, and maintaining the low rise character of the community. The last thing we need is further reduced parking (some of us rely on our cars for our independence and cannot physically ride bicycles). There is supposed to be a City Planning Commission. It would be nice if we saw some evidence of the second word in the label!

Open plaza/median good for stop without blocking parking, lanes, or walkways. Good access to bike lanes and cross streets.

Dear Representative, We absolutely need and would love to have a citibike station in our community. We are in a transportation desert! Having citibike access will be great for getting around especially with Brooklyn right over the bridge and Manhattan close by as well. It seems it would be an ideal location for the city's mission to connect more neighborhoods that do not have immediate access to trains. Lastly, this will not impact our neighborhood in a negative way since the current area is for taxi stand only but the livery company there has since moved and is no longer there. The corner is well protected in that way for bicycle riders.

This would be a great spot for a new bike dock. It is near the 7 and plenty of children, teens, local business owners, and residents could us it to get to their destinations.

Bring Citibike to Blissville! It would help so much since we are limited to public transportation.
