Good Citi Bike Station location
Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
59 St - Vaux Rd - Roosevelt Ave

This corner would be nice place for a street bike station. Not many cars park here as its a dead-end. Plenty of foot traffic and close to trains/busses. Also in central area to businesses and restaurants/bars.

Ample space for 2-3 citibike stations. At the foot of the 7-train, as well as 4-5 bus lines, the LIRR. Also, central area for many shops, restaurants, bars, a number of schools, and several houses of worship.

OMG... A bike dock on this this sidewalk (right up against the chainlink fence of the parking lot), would be fitting here! Just as there is a dedicated parking lot for residents with cars, a dedicated area for people that chose environmentally friendly bikes (specifically Citibike) would be GREAT!

Nice, quiet dead-end street. Also very close to schools and playground, so having Citibikes accessible here would be great for people travelling to and from here. Also, having Citibike here would be a great way to reduce the number of cars parking, and double-parking here, where children play. Just taking 2 parking spots would accomodate 10-15 bikes - an obvious and mathematically larger benefit to more people that live here/

Completely want one here for my own self-interest. I eat at this cafe all the time, and drink at the two bars on this block too. I have a car, and losing another couple of spots to park would suck. But in all honesty, being able to park 10-15 bikes is much better use of space vs. two cars any day.

This little triangle park seems like a good place for a bike station. It wouldn't take any parking spots, and is within a highly populated residential area.

This shopping area seems like a no-brainer for a Citibike Dock. Everyone goes to Starbucks here. It's also close to the Michaels craft store, Subway, HSBC Bank, a laundromat, and a Boston Market. Everyone from LIC, Sunnyside, and Woodside come here.

Not suitable for Citi Bike Station
Location Not Suitable for Citi Bike Station
39 Pl - Deadend - Greenpoint Ave

Residents of the sole apartment building on this dead-end street are already inundated with noise from the school and two playgrounds and people continually treating this secluded street as though it is their personal bar, drug spot, smoking lounge, and dog run. Do not add insult to injury by also removing parking spaces and inviting additional foot traffic to this location.

close this odd, dangerous lane with low visibility once and for all and put a bike rack there.
